Problems with JReviews links when SEF Advance enabled

Please post all questions regarding swMenuPro6.0 and above to this forum.

Hi!

This is the best menu component I have tested, I'm even thinking of buying the Pro version, but I still can't get around an issue with links that direct to the JReviews component.

The JReviews component menus work by defining a "JReviews Directory ID", which at the same time relate to the sections that have the content.

When disabling SEF, links work fine with SWMenu, and look like this:
http://[server]/index.php?option=com_jreviews&Itemid=365

But when enabling SEF, links that should look like this:
http://[server]/jreviews/alias
End up looking like this:
http://[server]/jreviews/index.php?option=com_jreviews/

I'm testing with another menu component which works with no problems regarding links, Ari Ext Menu, but is too slow, so I would like to switch to SWMenu, so please help me workaround this issue.

If you need any additional information or access to my site please tell me.

Thanks in advance,

Gianpietro

How are you generating the menu links?  If you can PM or email me some login details then I can have a look at your config and see if there's a fix.

Hi,

Another issue I'm having is that when enabling the menu, there's a Community Builder plugin called Share My Profile (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... -web/11465), which stops working: it should bring a Javascript popup whenever clicking on a link, but when swMenu is enabled, the popup content loads into the page by default (no java popup anymore).

I just sent you my site's info through PM.

Thanks!

It seems the component brings more java conflicts in my page:
- Community Builder "cancel" button at profile edit does not work when menu is enabled.
- JReviews sliding windows ceased to work.

Any way of avoiding java conflicts with multiple components?

thanks,
Gianpietro

Hi! any news? thanks!

In the swMenuPro menu module config, go to the "Item images and CSS" page. Click on your new submenu item and make sure the "show menu item" says yes. Older versions of swMenuPro had a bug where sometimes new menu items would default to a show menu item value of no so they would not display.
