Any upgrading of joomla should also include upgrading the jos_menu table and preserving all the links.  I haven't any plans to upgrade swmenuMaker for Joomla2.5 yet.  You shouldn't need it as the joomla menu manager seems to work better now.

swMenuFree and Pro are still available for Joomla2.5 to create your dynamic menu modules.

case 'menulink';
$mylink = $result2->link;
break;

But as it related to SWMenuPro & not SWMenuMaker it did not fix the issue.  I have been manually correcting the problem each time my client lets me know that the issue has happened.  Does anyone know of a permanent fix???

When I use SWMenuMaker to edit a menu item I then get a 404 error on any Alias item in the menu.

Can you advise is there a fix for this?

Thanks!

How can I change that?
Thanks

In file 'admin.swmenumaker.html.php' find this line:
Code:
<div class="DynamicTree" style="height:250px;">
and remove the style tag.

In file 'DynamicTree.css' add to class .DynamicTree this line:
Code:
text-align: left;

I have not tested it extensively, but at first glance this seems to help.

I've had a look at your page now.  It looks like the menus just published in the wrong module position.  Seems to be published on the "left" instead of in "top" or "menu" you need to have a look at your templates index.php file and see what module position is defined between these tags:

If there's no module position there then put one in like in red below:

Then you would publish the menu module in the "menu" module position.  Also make the top menu offset 0px again after making the change.

The only practical way is to remove it, then add a new one and move it to the correct position. But for this you'd always have to use both SWMenuMaker and the regular Joomla manager... very cumbersome!

It would be great if a filter box could be added. Then the SWMenuMaker would be really awesome.
