The Rexburg Idaho Temple will be dedicated Sunday, February 10th by President Thomas S. Monson. On the evening of January 27, 2008, one week before the scheduled dedication of the temple, news traveled across the globe of the passing of President Gordon B. Hinckley, who had intended to dedicate the temple. The dedication for the Rexburg Idaho Temple was scheduled to be held on February 3, 2008.
